Vote for Challenger in Tesco Stronger Starts – Every Vote Counts!

We are delighted to share some fantastic news!
Multicultural Organisation Challenger has been successfully selected for the Tesco Stronger Starts in-store customer vote, which means you can now help us make a real difference by voting for our project “You Are Not Alone.”

💙 What is our project about?

Our project supports children and young people from marginalised backgrounds, regardless of race, origin, or social status. Through activities that promote belonging, confidence, and personal growth, we help young people thrive and shape their future.

🗳️ How to vote – it’s quick and easy!

Voting takes place in Tesco stores from mid-January until the end of March 2026.

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Visit one of the participating Tesco stores.
  2. Make any purchase (even a very small one).
  3. At a staffed checkout, you can ask the cashier for a voting token.
At self-service checkouts, voting tokens are usually available next to the tills, and you can take one token yourself.
  4. Place your token in the voting unit for Challenger – “You Are Not Alone.”

👉 You will receive one token per transaction, and you do not need to buy a carrier bag to receive a token.

🏬 Tesco stores where you can vote for us:

  • Tesco Express – Newcastle West Road, NE15 6PQ
  • Tesco Extra – Newcastle, Kingston Park NE3 2FP
  • Tesco Express – Newcastle Chapel Park, NE5 1DR

🎯 Why your vote matters

The project with the highest number of votes in our region can receive up to £1,500, which will directly support activities for children and young people in our community.
Every single vote brings us closer to making this happen.
