They Work Behind the Scenes… Yet Nothing Would Work Without Them!

In this article, we would like to shine a warm spotlight on the people who have been supporting our organisation for years — those who work quietly, often unseen, but without whom nothing would run as smoothly as it does. They are the gears that keep everything turning, the magic behind the curtain, the heroes you don’t always see at our events.
(The order is completely random — because they’re all equally brilliant!)

Gina Baron – our guardian angel since day one

Gina has been supporting us from the very beginning of our organisation’s journey. It was she who guided us through all the important formalities, including obtaining our charitable status back in 2010.

She advised us on policies, insurance, documentation and all those essential things that keep a charity operating properly. You’ll often see her at our sessions, helping us prepare or run activities. Gina is quite simply irreplaceable — if there’s a problem, she usually knows the answer before we even finish the question!

Przemysław Kenar – the wizard behind our website

From the moment our organisation came to life, Przemek has been looking after our website. He constantly improves it so that it looks good, works well and — most importantly — stays safe for all users.

Thanks to him, we didn’t lose all our data during the recent hacker attack, and your emails and booking information remained protected.

Przemek also designed our organisation’s logo and is always ready to help with advice on ever-changing digital rules. Without him, the internet would definitely be a scarier place!

Justyna Sulima – our expert on all things children love

For nearly ten years, Justyna has been helping us prepare activities and events. As a mum of two girls, she knows exactly what children enjoy, what excites them and what captures their imagination — and her ideas are always spot on!

Justyna, together with her husband Marcin, also helps us run sessions, organise things, and simply be there whenever needed. They are the kind of people you can always rely on — and we truly do.

Krzysztof Wołoszczak – the man you rarely see but always need

Krzysztof has been supporting us for many years by translating our applications, checking our spelling and making sure our documents make sense.

He is always present during preparations and regularly devotes his free time to help create the materials we need for our activities. Quiet, effective and unbelievably reliable — every organisation dreams of a Krzysztof!

Ewa Kurzątkowska – the heart behind “Polskie Smaki u Ewy”

Thanks to Ewa, children can enjoy Polish sweets in their Christmas parcels — and she supports us at every opportunity, often providing cakes and biscuits for our events.

She does all of this completely free of charge. When we once asked her “Why?”, she simply replied:
“Why not? If I can help, I will.”

If only the world had more people like Ewa — our community would be full of angels.

Ryszard Piecuch – the voice of POLNEWS

Ryszard has been publishing information about our events for many years. He promotes our organisation entirely free of charge — something that is certainly not common these days.

It is wonderful to have people like him in our community. Whenever we call or message asking for help, he never asks “How much?” but rather “When do you need it?”. That says everything about the kind of person he is.

Thanks to them, we have thrived for 15 years!

These are the people you may not always see at our events, but who are present in the daily life of our organisation — and without whom we would not be celebrating 15 years of activity today.

Of course, there are many more wonderful individuals who have helped us selflessly over the years, and we cannot possibly name them all here… but we thank each of you from the bottom of our hearts.

To everyone who supports us, helps us, advises us, or simply stands by our side — thank you.
Because of you, our organisation can keep going, growing and bringing joy to our community.

With gratitude,
The Challenger Team
